ORTHO 50 – the complete program

This year marks my 50th, with about 25 years spent as a dentist and a bit less as an orthodontist. I gave my first lecture in 2005, at the age of thirty, believing I had endless time ahead of me. My career has gifted me more than I could have ever hoped for, fulfilling so many professional dreams.

What I didn’t realize then was how quickly time flies. It’s easy to become overly engaged or even fanatical about work, and before you know it, you’re 50. I still feel young, but recent heart health challenges have shown me how truly precious time is.

I’ve decided to step back from having a fully booked calendar, traveling every weekend, and managing countless commitments. My 50th year will mark the end of my professional lecture and teaching career. (Although I might still attend a conference or two if I’m in the mood.)

The time I have, given my health, I want to spend with flexibility and intention. Yet, I remain deeply grateful to my profession, which I have loved—and still love—so much.

As a farewell and with gratefulness, I want to share all the data, knowledge, lectures, and videos I have collected over the last two decades. My team and I have put together the most complete program I’ve ever created—entirely led by me—reflecting everything I’ve learned so far. It’s a 10-month online course, featuring 15 sessions, plus a full-day OnyxCeph event, a full science day, and a final in-person day: The ORTHO 50!

Program Details

  • Program Duration: March to December 2025.
  • Format: Online, featuring 15 Tuesday evening sessions (all recorded for later access).
  • Full OnyxCeph Day: A complete exploration of updates, features, and clinical applications, including a trial license and 3D files.
  • Full Science Day: A deep dive into my scientific career, going article by article, tool by tool.
  • Final In-Person Day (needs to be booked separatley): Held in my hometown, TT, coinciding with the famous Christmas market—a chance to celebrate, reflect, and engage in special lectures, followed by an evening event with dinner and live music.

What to Expect

  • A reflection of everything I have done over the past 25 years.
  • Clinically focused presentations, complete with digital files, case examples, and practical insights.
  • Open discussions about errors and mistakes, backed by literature and research.
  • Access to recordings, digital materials, 3D files, and much more.

This program is designed to be a comprehensive and honest reflection of my journey, combining science, experience, and a celebration as I close this chapter.
